{{As this month comes to an end and we continue to milk our summer Fridays, we can’t help but feel the excitement for the Fall season ahead.  Last Friday, we decided to walk up 5th Avenue on our way to the Whitney Museum and spotted some of our favorite retailers getting a head start on releasing their Fall product.  Zara’s windows focused on the peplum blouse, which we mentioned in our most recent Trend-Spotting Thursday post, as the playful trend we see moving into the next season.

And as for the Yayoi Kusama Retrospective at the Whitney Museum; Louis Vuitton’s facade and wax figure of the artist proved to be just a fraction of the fun and scope of such a dynamic artist.  Her dot-obsessive, free-spirited, sexual nature is a visual experience any lover of art-meets-fashion (and vice versa) should check out.}}
